The '80 XR-7... Reply #316 – April 15, 2008, 06:00:00 PM Well the carb decided it wanted to play nice today as I drove the '80 over to stick in the storage garage for a couple days while I drive the '83. Since it was behaving, I took a couple pics of the beast. Quote Selected

I'm debating on adding it back when the car gets painted, or painting the "top" on.Kind of have other things to worry about before that point anyway....like locating good replacement parts that I need. The '80 XR-7... Reply #320 – September 05, 2008, 09:22:29 AM Well, the new owner of this car will be picking it up today.I needed to let it go to be able to concentrate on a few things that are more important.I know the guy, and he has been almost giddy about it since he found out I was selling it. He can't even wait until the weekend to pick it up.It is sad to see it go because I love driving it and how unique it is. I may revisit a Box Fox in the future, but right now I need to narrow my focus a bit.I know I'll be seeing it around and I'm sure I'll be answering questions about what parts are used, etc.I know his plans are just to sort out the couple engine issues and get it cleaned up, so it's going to a good home.I'll take a few final pics this afternoon...
