Well, not really, I've had this thing for about 4 months now and just never posted pics, the replacement for my totaled '04 GTO:

1996 LSC purchased with 94,000 miles, mid year '95 to 96 were the only first generation mark VIII's that had an available LSC package with monochromatic color scheme, true duals, perforated leather, thicker anti roll bars and extremely rare HID headlights on some. This one even has 4 good original molded lincoln emblem mudflaps (about as difficult to find as cougar mudflaps). Only downside is that it's a northern car and is caked with rust on the underside (alot of it I've been able to remedy so far). That and I'm not a huge fan of opalescent white.

That particular white is one of the best Ford came up with IMHO.  Good luck with the new car!  Looks good!

Congrats dude, they are definitely neat cars.  Too bad I don't have the patience for them.  Otherwise, I'd be doing the same thing.

Kinda off topic here, but how did you like the 04 GTO? I am kind of eyeing the 05 GTO's, more HP than 04. And how did you total it??

I loved it and if it wasn't for the fact that my car insurance was more than the car payment each month, I would've bought another (an '05 this time). I could've afforded it, but just don't want to pay that much just for car insurance (I only have 2 points on my liscence and paid over $500.00 per month) I think besides kaLifornia, New Jersey has to be the worst insurance state in the U.S. How did I total it? Someone decided to leave a strip club after having a few and drive 55mph northbound in the southbound lane . . . which I happened to occupy at the present time also doing 55.

Thats a shame man, beautiful car too.

Last time I went to the 1/4 strip, an 05 GTO owner was going 13.20s in the heat(95*/high humidity) with a stock 05 GTO(even stock radials). I imagine it would be an easy 12 sec car with decent weather. The only problem is that I was reading the largest tire you could run in the rear is a 275 width? With 400HP, thats a small tire. But other than that, the GTO has really grown on me, I havent driven one yet, afraid Id be sold on one and buy it lol.

Actually New Jersey is 2nd only to Hawaii as far as insurance rates go.  You ever notice that a lot of major Nationwide insurance companies won't touch New Jersey?

Nice mark Billy, Hey I tried to call you over the weekend. My motor is completly locked up. I started to tear it down will have some pics soon.

So far what I can see is the front of the crank has a big crack running through it ( I can see it through the new hole in the timing cover :( ) and the harmonic balancer snapped in half and flew up and broke the tensioner.

I'll have pics once I get the motor out

Dayum, the sickness must be up and down the east coast. My buddy Robert snapped the crank in his 308 a couple of weeks ago. Harmonic ballancer was still in one piece, but it was pointed in the direction of the left headlight...

Nice ride Bill, I'm one who likes the pearl paint...

I stole my best friend's 05 GTO for 2 weeks while we were in Florida. It was a Torrid Red/Black car with the 6-speed. It will do at least 127 in 4th gear *innocent whistling* and I took it to Orlando Speed World. Best run (for me) was a 14.44@102 with Audra in the car at 95* outside with 115* heat index. Slipped and slid all over the place (2.3 short time). My dad took my 11 year old sister down to a 14.30@99 doing the same thing. Awesome highway car, I put 6000 miles on it in 2 weeks, averaged 21-22 mpg on the Turnpike (84 MPH on cruise) and 19-20 mixed driving (including burn-outs). I actually blew his right rear during a big smokey one (car only has 15000 miles). The rears were dead. We road-tripped 3 fat guys and a skinny vegetarian chick from Miami to Atlanta and back no problem. It's a PITA to get in the back, but once there, it's actually pretty nice. I'd put on different wheels (the stock 17's are harder to clean then turbines!) and swap in a set of TBird dual power seat tracks (I grew a  beard waiting for the seat to move), other then that, it's a perfect car. Local stealership has a Impulse Blue on Blue leather 06 on 18's that I'm dying to get. Stupid joblessness!
