Very nice 87-88 tbird parts Reply #15 – August 02, 2006, 04:05:16 PM Quoteno offence but those dash plates arent made of gold quite yet and they are still pretty pleantiful. I thought this was a place to try to help each other out.so that means i have to give my stuff away? sorry man, i have a ton invested in all my stuff, and im trying to get some of my money back at a loss. no, the console plates are not all that rare but this one is the nicest one i have ever seen in person. its for the guy that is puting the final touches on a restoration or is sick of looking at the old ratty one in his car. sure there are other options as well, but this one is original and i feel that somebody will want it. i dont think what im asking for my stuff is unreasonable even though it may seem like alot of money. more so for the glass than the console plate. i dont know how rare or available the glass is to date, but eventually someone is going to want it. the rubber moulding around them realy look like after 18 or so years. i couldnt have that on my car, and thats why i have the glass. the car is now gone. (i already miss and regret it). parts have to go, but im not giving it all away, ive done that too much in the past. i feel i am helping out....try finding them... i know some of you are going to think thats a ton of money, and you are right, it is. its not an unfreasonable amount though. i know people that have paid that for the glass and i have seen NOS console plates sell for over 140 bucks. if someone wants them, great. let me know. if not, i have no problem holding on tho them untill someone does. Very nice 87-88 tbird parts Reply #16 – August 02, 2006, 06:39:03 PM If you don't get rid of that console plate by the end of August I might be interested. I'm getting some upolstery workd done right now and don't have the spare cash. Now if someone could find some NOS LX/Turbo Coupe door lock switches that still look new I'd be set. I don't blame you for asking a decent ammount of money for it after all it's hard to find original parts in nice shape for these cars. I can get a shiznitty one from the wreakers cheap but that's not what I want. I'll pay to get what I want, well when I have some money to;) . Quote Selected
