WTB: 87-88 Steering wheel LX or TC + more items July 17, 2006, 01:08:04 PM Hey guys, i need a 87 or 88 steering wheel for my 88 LX. the leather on mine is really bad and at the top, it is beginning to split open. the worst part is that there is some type of grease or something coming out of the split. i need a new wheel ASAP. i dont care if its a LX or a TC wheel BUT i do want one that is in good condition.also, still lookin for a maroon TC header panel to fit my 88. also a maroon TC hood. dont want to go through the process of painting one. so you can imagine, i need them to be in excellent shape. its a long shot but you never no. here is a pic of my bird. http://home.neb.rr.com/kurtzer/images/tbirdside.JPG is that considered maroon?EDIT:also looking for the radio trim piece and the ashtray assembly and door out of a 88 sport. let me know Quote Selected

WTB: 87-88 Steering wheel LX or TC + more items Reply #10 – July 29, 2006, 10:00:44 PM Tfizzle, I finally was able to check and we've got a maroon 87/88 TC hood with the scoops and the ductwork. It's a straight hood, but the clear is peeling, so it wouldn't be a "bolt and go" like you were hoping. If you may be interested anyway, we're selling it for $125. We've got three maroon 87/88 header panels. One is at my mom's and hasn't been checked. One of them has a crack near the top that would need to be repaired to be used on a nice car. We're selling that one for $25. The other one is probably a "bolt and go" panel. It appears to still have the original maroon paint and all of the mounting studs are intact. The only problem can I see is some tiny rock chips, otherwise it's a really nice header. We're selling that one for $150. I've got a buddy who's supposed to be going south of Des Moines in the next couple of weeks. He may be able to bring the parts along for a little gas money if you're interested. Oh, we also have a nice TC steering wheel for $25. Thanks. Quote Selected

It's in the rafters of my shop and I'm not going up there until the temperature drops below 100. We Minnesotans can't handle that much heat....
