What do you guys think of the exterior of my car? I put those little 5.0 emblems on there and then those fender trim things and door trim but I don't know if the car looks that nice. Do I need to complete it with some chrome rims maybe? I am getting dual exhaust so that will help a bit, and I made pillars chrome since they were flaking. The rear window trim is chrome and thought about trying to get the front to go chrome as well. What do you guys think? I have a lil link there you can go and see a few pics.

IMO the chrome fender things look bad but thats just my opinion, other than those the car looks good :D and Welcome to the Board

Well my friend thought they would be cool...but he was probably high at the time. So what look can I go for if I leave em' on? Might take them off later but would rather not. Keep the comments coming!!!

I think those chrome accents on the fender are a last finishing touch type of thing and you did it first. I see that a lot. Usually that and a chrome gas door. If you are trying to trim out in chrome then you need to do it consistantly throughout the car. It looks like the style of the car was to have black accents. So if you are doing chrome your grill, rims, and small metal pieces like the bezzel base of the antenna and the mirrors need to have the same look so that it all ties in together. Currently all of these things are blacked out. You deffinitely need a larger diameter polished alum. or chrome wheel and then I think the chrome accents on the fender would make sense. Jason.

if you are going for big rims and alot of chrome than they will look good in the end. and i agree with jasontbird that you need to get everthing else chrome too, mirrors, trim etc. if you are going for the big rim look. but its your car and its up to you what you do. our opinions only mean so much then you have to run with you ideas.

I actually like the mix of chrome and black. I'd leave your front window trim black.

I think your car looks great. Now that said, it will look even better by doing two things...
1. Upgrade to chrome rims... Cobra R's (even though people are getting tired of them) are a nice touch and would look great on your car.
2. Polish those headlights to try to bring out their natural luster.

Like Fred said, definitely try and polish up the headlights some. Also, I think a set of chrome mirrors would look nice with the chrome fender trim.

take a stroll through your local salvage yards. Shouldn't take long to find them on another car. Both of those are easy swaps.

So just look for some chorme mirrors off of another cat or tbird? Or what else would fit?
