June 29, 2006, 06:04:35 PM We about 3 month ago I got moved to an onsite position and started working with the HVAC group and they drop an AC compressor off for me to make a model of. It took me all week but I did it. Then they came back and took it away from me. I asked how much something like that cost. The guy just looked at me and walked away. The guy that sits across from me told me $16,000. I just about pissed myself at that point. The entire compressor is billet aluminum. And they only have a hand full of them made right now for test fitting purposes. It also all electric. Quote Selected
