Rear shock adapter brackets

For those interested, I'm going to be getting some lasered bits for the rear shock adapter brackets.  To refesh, these would be to mount the more plentiful (but shorter) Mustang shocks on a Tbird/Cougar.  I'll post up some pics when I get the pieces and get a sample together.

Not 100% certain yet, but $20-25/set seems plausible.

Well, I'm ordering stuff for 5 sets initially.  It may be a couple weeks before I have the lasered stuff back.  The big holdup on these will be waiting for the plating since they will be done with the motormounts I'm doing, which will take a bit longer to get together ;)

Another option for these would be for me to powder-coat them.  My buddy will be doing a little gloss black in the next couple weeks and if there was a consensus on this over plating we could do that as well.  This would make these available sooner.

Ok another question. Do these just bolt to the original shock mounts and extend them upwards?

They bolt into the stock location and also to the where the stock tab went (gets drilled out).

Oh most likely.  I just didn't want to get stuff for a -load of them to start.  I keep my prototype batches pretty small ;)

forgot to ask, will they be for lowered cars, stock height, or both?

These should work for both.  They raise the shock point about 2.5" over stock.
