Finally got one! June 23, 2006, 10:07:02 AM Welp, I will finally be joining the ranks of the 5.8L crowd!:tg: Bought a good running 351W out of a '92 Econoline van for $250, paid $300 for him to deliver it to my place.Just gotta get a new oil pan, intake and a set of headers and Flywheel and she is ready to go. Are there any other things I will be needing for the 351EFI swap to go smoothly? Quote Selected

Finally got one! Reply #4 – June 23, 2006, 11:04:40 PM I used my shorty header off of my 5.0. What intake are you going to run? If you have the 5.8 EFI intake you can gasket match it to a GT 40 or the Eldebrock upper.Just a little info. Or professianl products make a Eldebrock knockoff for about $400 for the upper and lower. Finally got one! Reply #8 – June 24, 2006, 02:27:51 AM I got this 351W for $100 and some random change I had in my pocket, 45,000 original kilometers.Of course it was attached to thisI sold the wheels/tires, doors all around, seats, and some interior pieces so the 351 cost me about $-350 in the end :D Now I just need something to put it in, hmmm Quote Selected

I know the 351 shorties extend down further because of the taller deck but is the only purpose of that to hook to the stock exhaust? Thought 5.0 shorties would hit something on a 351:dunno: Sorry for the hi jack. Quote Selected

It ain't nuthin like the truck 5.0 intake... Quote Selected
