Anyone Going to CatJam on I-71/I-70, SW Ohio, Cincinnati, Columbus & Akron

Thought I would start up a post and see if anyone is comming up I-71 to CatJam.
I live just North of Cincinnati, off 71 just above Kings Island. We can hook up and gather up on the way with each other also, such as anyone wanting to hook up going through Columbus, Ohio on 71 also.
Is anyone interested in hooking up to follow each other to CatJam? If so, I will start listing the time and where on this initial post. I will also PM my phone number to anyone who needs it in getting this together also, so we can stay in touch through the day, in case anyone is running a bit behind or early. Besides SuperCat, I may also be bringing my 88' stock XR7 again also.

I also have AAA, and plan on getting maps, with any detours on the way just to be safe. Besides, mapquest is not the best for directions getting there anyway. CatJam is a 4.25 hour drive from Kings Island according to mapquest.

JadeCat95 and I had talked about meeting up in the Akron area around noon. From the directions I see that you will be going right through there. What time do you think you will hit that area?

I'll be coming over I-70 from Indy.  Haven't thought far enough ahead though on a timeframe :p

Gotta get the car out for some shakedown miles before I say 100% for certain.

Speaking of that... Is there a good place you are thinking to meet?

That'd be really cool if we could work out the right time to have Victor and Chuck meet us there as well (and anyone else of course!).

I hadn't thought of a specific place, but seeing as it will be lunch time I was hoping everyone would be up for grabbing a bite to eat. There is a Acme Grocery store just a few minutes south of 224 in the Akron area. Its convient to a couple of fast food places, and also a couple of auto parts stores in case someone might need something.

I'm wanting to leave from here by 1:00 pm, or sooner, but no later than 3 pm. The red roof is 4.25 hours from here. Akron is 3.5 hours away + any stopping time for others to meet up with also. It's going to depend on who is wanting to meet up, and a time that will work for as many cars as possible. I'm hoping Ed will be able to be near me by 1 pm, and I will most likely have 2 cars (86' LS & 88' XR7). There is a nice rest stop just north of columbus for anyone comming over I-70 for us to meet at also, and if we can work it out to meet up anyone else after that up in Akron, that would be very cool. As far as I am concerned, the more cars the better. I just hope everyone comming through this area see's this post so we can hook up as many cars as possible.

Bumpity Bumpity bump bump de bump. For anyone wanting to meet up, let me know ASAP. I will most likely not be leaving until noon Friday morning, from just North of Cincinnati, in Lebanon Ohio, just off 71. Should be in Columbus somewhere between 2 and 3 o'clock, or around 2:30 most likely. There is a rest stop North of columbus, North of Fargo on the map. Mapquest shows it, if blown up, as exit 140?. Expecting to be up near Akron around 2 hours leaving from columbus. I will be in my yellow 86' LS. I realize this may be late for some of you, but, there really isn't much going on until then usually anyway. Anyone wanting my number, for keeping in touch on the way up, send me a PM. See y'all this next weekend, and Remember, the 4 eyed cats......RULE. :D
