Gear Change

Just something i was wondering. is it posible to remove the carrier with the pinion gear.... and put it in another rear end without redoing the gears.... just shimming the carrier?

No, you should always set up your gears, regardless...skipping that process is asking for trouble.

mk... i just wasnt too sure lol.. i figured id swap the entire rear end assy out of my 89 stang into my 84 cougar.. much more simple and.... better gears.
