New Cat Purchase

I just bought this for my son to drive until he can afford to buy what he actually wants himself.
4 Cyl. turbo XR7. Car rides and drives pretty nice, but I have some bugs to work out before I let him use it as a daily driver.

The body is a bit rougher than it looks on the pics, but it is solid. Interior is in real good shape too. It smokes off and on quite a bit sometimes, so besides fixing that, The power drivers window needs to be fixed, and few other minor detail may need fixed also before he'll be able to drive it also.

It is my car, but he will have full use of it until he can buy what he likes, and then he'll return it back to me. Tires are in good shape, new brake pads came with the car also, so I'll have to put them on also.

For $800, I thought i did pretty decent.

Not too shabby. One of these days I'm going to get a 4-eye cougar or bird.

Seeing it at Cat Jam will suffice too.  So, are you gonna bring this and the yellow cat to CJ?
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"

Very nice!
There was a turbo Cougar identical to that in my area.
I'm curious... where did the car come from?

Ok 4th, here's a few more. All I have on my car site for now.
Ugly side:

Interior is in pretty good shape. Few things on the doors are a bit loose, but nice overall:

Engine bay:

Cougars 2 go: Yellow is comming for sure, and i was planning on the 88' too. I haven't even thought about. It needs some work 1st, before I make a trip like that. I'm sure it would make, but it is a 3 speed and gas would be on the rough side. As far as I can tell for now, it's all stock except the Turbo was replaced by one a bit bigger. Nothing major.

cougarcragar: Near Muncie, Indiana. About 2+ hours away from me.

EricCoolCats: Yes, I know. He is about an inch taller, and his new shoes in January this year were size 13.
ONE MORE YEAR of child support as of last week. $100.00 a week. I think college may be a bit cheaper. whew.
Didya say somtin' bout old? Speek up sunny. No reasin t b whisperin'.

That's pretty nice for $800. I wish I could find something like that for $800 to replace my Buick. I'd rather drive a Bird or Cat;)
