Question about E7 heads.

I looking to switch from the stock heads that are currently in my Tbird to some E7s that are ported, install a new cam, new intake and 4 barrel carb. I was wondering if anyone knew what the maximum safe valve lift would be so I can determine what cam to go with.

I'm pretty sure it's @ or below .500 for the stock springs. Change your springs and increase your lift potential. It's been awhile since I've messed with the pushrod V. Somebody will verify I'm sure.
