Headlights and dashlights help?

I have a small little problem with my dashlights and headlights. They work and everything but for some reason they seem to flicker.  I've replaced the dimmer switch. I've also done a 3g alternator upgrade. The flicker doesn't seem to happen to anything but the headlight dashlights.  I've even had them turn off for a min or so. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? All of my battery alternator connections are clean and tight.

YOur headlight switch is history. Inside it there's a circuit breaker, and the breaker is tripping prematurely. Do you have fog lights running through the switch (as the factory stock setup has)? If so this will worsten the effect.

It doesn't matter if I have the foglights on or not. Besides according to the haynes manual the fogs have a relay so the power for them should come from there not the headlight switch. Is there any way to replace the circut breaker inside the swtich. I have the auto headlights with delay and the headlight switch is $60 for a new Borg warner one. The part number I get is S2097.

The foglights draw their power through the headlight switch, on the red/black wire. Regardless, I don't know of any replacement circuit breaker. If you could get the switch apart, though, you could always bypass it and install an inline circuit breaker...

I'll wait until I get a new one then I'll pull the old one apart that way I've got some way to make it work. Also I think I'm gonna add a relay to power the foglights just the factory wiring for the relay trigger. Thanks for the input.
