OK I have lived on a farm my entire life and we use trucks for trucks.  So I'm pretty sure I know what a truck is for.  But, in my opinion a guy should take care of his possesions.  My friend drives his old truck nearly every day.  He probably won't haul much in it now because he has a 2003 GMC 2500 that he uses for daily driving/work.  This '87 was his first truck that he has had for years and USED it during that time in which it was his daily driver.  Now it is something special that we both put hours of work into getting it to this point.  He has a lot of fun with it and plans on keeping around to pass on to his son someday.  What would be the point of taking it out mudding and thrashing the piss out of it for no reason?  :flip:

well not to start anything here just cuz i like this bored ....but it wouldnt be trashin the shiznit outta it if you drive it properly ...and i dont mean trashing it in anyway ...just have a lil funn in it now and again

Nice truck. No. Beautiful truck. (look down, I'm a C series fan, though I don't know if you consider a GMC a C)

And tell your buddy to drive HIS truck, which HE payed for, whatever way HE wants. ;) He should be proud of it, and consider himself lucky to have a friend willing to sweat and bleed on his steel.
