Updated pics with new rims

Finally I got around to taking some new pics of the bird.  Not too much has changed since last pics, but the car looks completely different.  A few of the rust spots and dents have been fixed, and I have Suspension Techniques lowering springs on the front.  I'll have the STs for the rear too, once they are off backorder.  The other big difference is the snowflake rims, thanks to 4thqtr.  Originally the plan was to use these rims for winter beaters so I could upgrade to larger brakes, then pick up a set of Cobra Rs for summer use.  That plan went out the window once reality set in and I began to think about how much that would cost.  So instead, a buddy of mine got me a good deal on powdercoating, so I got the snowflakes powdercoated black chrome to give them a newer look.

The car looks very nice. I really should get a set of snowflakes myself.

I ordered the springs from JC Whitney.  My front springs shipped back on 3/27, and my rear springs have been on backorder since then.  They keep pushing them back a month at a time.  I got a postcard in the mail saying they should be in on the the 27th of this month, but on their website it says they are on backorder until 6/12.  I don't really know what to believe, but all I can do is wait.

I ordered a set of those springs from JC Whitney about 3 years ago. The fronts shipped right away, but the rears were on backorder for about 6 months until they finally told me that they didn't expect to every get any more. I went for fox stang springs in the back and I think the stance is really good for mismatched springs.

That bites.  You'd think they'd take if off their site if they didn't expect to get them anymore.  Looks like I'll have to start looking for alternatives.

I really like how clean it looks. My only gripe is the exhaust tips. Youll need something longer, so they dont actually look like tips.
It's Gumby's fault.
