BTW I assume you mean the accessory belt and not the timing belt. There is no need to take off the timing belt. There is a tensioner near the alternator with a bolt on it that is keeping the belt tight. Put a breaker bar or long wrench or rachet on the bolt for leverage and push down (or pull up depending on which side your are on) to release the tension. Slide the belt off and there you go.
