My $300 Cat

Well here is my cat. Not much to look at right now but will be sometime soon.

I would like to add a TC Hood, and mold some different headlights into the header panel, I also want to take some 67 to 69 Cougar tail lights and mold them into the rear lights.

Anyway tell me what you think, and give some suggestions.

** I also need a new tranny, thinking about a t5 swap**

The engine fires right up too! Been sitting for a few years b4 I bought and the engine just fired right up. I was happy:D

Nice car, especially for $300.  How do you guys find such good deals?!

Yeah really...how do you find a cat like that for 300 bux?  I've been seaching high and low for another 87 or an 88 XR-7...the closest I've come was a rough shape E-bayer that was 650....but was a bust because some body "lost" a trailer so I had no way of towing it home.

the body on that looks great for a $300 car. Does it even have any rust? If I found a 87 XR-7 by me for $300 it would be so rusty that there wouldn't be much of a car left.

Yeah there is some rust, mostly on the trunk lips and rear wheels and the spare tire area is kinda shot.

Well the kid wanted to go ricer, and his parents moved and he need to get rid of it. I was going to pull the 302 out and put it in the ranger, but I feel in love with it once I saw it.

I had seen it two years earlyer at the local movie theater and said to my friends that I would love to own it. lol. That is how fate is funny I guess.

I was trying to get a new tranny in it by Cat jam but alas I will not be able too.

Oh well there is always next year.

That car looks really good for $300. Makes me think I overpaid the $900 I bought mine for.
