k-member 2.3T

Ok I have done a lot of searching on the subject but want to make sure Im correct before I start buying parts. first off I have an 87 turbocoupe 2.3T. I want to install A UPR k-member kit w/ tublar      A-arms and coil-overs, at the same time im going to five lug w/ a 9in wheel(17x9, 255 tire) up front using 94-95gt spindles and gt brakes. From what I have read I need to use FOX(87-93 mustang) A-arms correct?

Next Im keeping the 2.3T what do I need to do for motor mounts on the new tublar k-member? Will stock bolt right up? Im in the dark on this one so any help would be great....

Last doing a five lug swap on the rear using 94-98gt mustang backing plates and axles. Does anyone know if you can fit some of the 94-04gt rear deep dish 17x10.5 wheels on the back. I was thinking a 315 tire??? will this fit?

            thanks mike

As far as the motor mounts go, I'm fairly sure you would have to switch to Mustang-style 2.3L motor mounts...might be wrong on that...

NO,  you want to use 94 up controll arms.
One 88

The K-member in my 84 uses the motor mounts that you'll most likely need.  What sucks is nobody makes a pair of new ones, only passenger side.  They are pretty hard to come by now.

Actually on an 87-88 and using a Mustang K-member, you will want to use Fox Mustang length control arms (this has been discussed alot).  Using the longer arms will push the wheels out.

Also, you will need Mustang 2.3T motor mounts, either SVO or a set like the 87-93 2.3 EFI mounts.  The 83-84 TC mounts are the same as well.  Or there is always a set of my poly motor mounts ;)

Next batch will be some of the SVO/Mustang type mounts.  Shoot me an email (cwarren@indy.net) and I'll stick you on the contact list.
