79 Tbird, T-tops, 351W

Im posting this for a local guy. I thought there might be some interest in it over here. This is not mine but if you reply here i will relay the info to him untill i get his e-mail address. You can also see his add for it at

He says it has new brakes, calipers and pads. It is currently down due to fuel delivery. he says it will run off starting fluid or if you run a line to a can from the fuel pump but for some reason its not getting fuel from the tank. here are a couple pics

wow, thats a blast from the past. i had one of these cars a long time ago. it had a rough life and had a badly knockin 351W/FMX combo when i got it. originally dark blue and tan, somone had painted it black and dyed the interior black as well.
i swapped in a 400/C6 combo from my old 77 ranchero and sold it after cruisin it for a summer with the tops out.

fun car, good luck to the seller.

I'd be all over this if I were closer as well. 350 is  cheap for a t-top bird its worth much much more.....

i don't know if looking into shipping across the country would be worth it but i know if he doesn't sell it it will die a crushing death more than likely

Shipping it across the country would probably cost a lot more than double the price of the car.  It is a sweet machine, though.  I'll have one someday.  If I had a nice powerstroke truck and a gooseneck trailer, I'd be on my way to Dayton.

Fix it and drive it back, if all else fails tape a motorcycle tank to the roof and your set! ( a friend actually bought a car like this before, did work though )

a motorcycle tank at 15 mpg highway?  have to stop every 30 miles to fill it up.  need something like an 8 gallon boat tank or bigger
