Re: I just saw what crystal looks like..... Reply #34 – December 10, 2004, 10:36:58 AM crystalOwner: Ye Olde Anglian Bullish Houndw00t! (ok, I'm using that too much these days)I've just got my Fender hardshell, but it works plenty good. My dad's got a vintage Fender Mustang. One of the last one's ever made, according to the serial. He has it packed away and never plays it anymore. :(Man, I've really got to get a decent amp. This Epiphone 10" practice amp isn't cutting it. Quote Selected
Re: I just saw what crystal looks like..... Reply #35 – December 10, 2004, 10:41:46 AM That amp setup cost me a wopping $600... see, I don't just luck out on car parts. The bass was $500 Quote Selected
Re: I just saw what crystal looks like..... Reply #36 – December 10, 2004, 10:44:36 AM $600 is a lot for a two piece setup like that? And $500 for an ESP is pretty decent. Maybe I'm losing something in the conversion. Quote Selected

Re: I just saw what crystal looks like..... Reply #43 – December 10, 2004, 12:13:10 PM Guitars hey? I've own"ed" a black Gibson Ripper base - 1977isha Peavey 115 base ampa red Fender Strat with the fine tuning POSa Traynor mark III tube amp sold them and put the money toward the t-bird fund. I now have a black Gibson Les Paul 1988a black Gibson SG 1989a Peavey 130 clasic chorus amp 1988a Yamaha accoustic with 009" - 042" electric strings <- I play this one the most ...man I miss my ripper :( Quote Selected
Re: I just saw what crystal looks like..... Reply #44 – December 10, 2004, 12:26:14 PM This is my other guitar. A Yamy accousitc. I bought this as an excuse to go to town and buy 'the ring'. Anyway, this is a pic of an F310, which is the basic high end Yamy, but I'm not sure of what model I have, exactly. I'll find out when I get home. It's an accoustic/electric with a 3-way eq.For those who don't know, these are nothing like the yamy's you see for sale in the Sears catalogue. In my opinion, they have the best tone you can get for the money. Around $200 for the same sound you'll get for a $500+ Washburn or Ibanez. Fender accoustics are garbage, at least from my experience with my brother's old one. Wouldn't keep tune for an hour. Quote Selected
