Yeah it's about  time...gettin tired of the Chevy builds.

Ever noticed how when they have a Ford on the show, it's always just bolt-on stuff, but for the Chebbies they're always building engines and everything? WTF is that. I thought Joe was a Ford guy, it seems like now that Chuck is gone they do more Chevies than they even did before.

They never build the Chevy. They buy a crate engine, swap heads, put an intake manifold on it, and a carb. Hardly building.

That show might as well be a Summit catalog.

Yeah, they don't really "build" anything from what I saw.

I spent a day with them a few years back helping film an episode installing one of KB's old F-Body street cages.  It was kind of helpful when folks would call and bitch about installing the cage.  I could replay "Look, I installed the thing in less than 8 hours stopping all the time so two actors could step in and film their shots and discuss dialog.  I think you can handle it in a weekend."  :p
Joe was more of a Ford guy....but he also did a couple "travel" type of shows...so who knows
I'm sure Chuck didn't mind getting a free cage installed in his car either.....

They didn't "get rid" of Stacey, he moved on to other things.

Anyway it seems to me like they build an awful lot of stuff on Horsepower, I dunno how often you guys watch but they build stuff up from a bare block all the time. Granted it's with all new parts but still.

And as for chuck, well I'm sure he didn't mind the thousands of dollars in free parts his cars have gotten over the years  when he was on the show they were working on one of HIS CARS every other week!

A few years ago, we drove the Chevelle down to Georgia for an all Chevelle show and we ended up staying in the same hotel as Chuck and many other show partints, so in the morning we were all standing out in the parking lot in a big circle talking about cars.  A car drove by and spit some condensation on my leg, and Chuck just pics up a dirty old rag that was laying there and threw it to me.  He was just an average Joe; not pen 15y or anything.  We even checked out the car he brought to the show, which was a 64 Chevelle wagon, and it wasn't even sparkly clean and stuff!  He complemented my dad on his Chevelle and even gave it it's own space in the Chevelle club magazine with it's own picture and caption, which was really cool for us!

Anyways yeah...I stopped watching all those early Sunday shows because I'm never awake by then, and they've changed everything so much, I don't like it any more.

Anyone ever see that "Muscle Car" show after Horse Power? They had a segment a few weeks ago on the "1970 Dodge HEMI CUDA" :shakehead . WTF Plymouth made the Hemi Cuda. That show just lost all credit with me after that.

Muscle Car would be better if the two guys on it didn't yell, overact, and use hand movements like rappers...
