Am I crazy? Tie-downs in trunk...

So I've pondered this a couple times, but never really done anything about it. I'd like to have some kind of hooks or tiedowns in my trunk. A lot of times I put stuff in my trunk that I don't want sliding around everywhere, but it ends up doing it anyway because I have no way to secure it down. Have any of you guys ever done anything to remedy this?

I was thinking it would be nice to have a net, or something to attach bungee cords to, in the trunk. However I don't really wanna pull up all the carpet to drill holes. Suggestions? I might have to swing by Lowe's and see if they have anything that I can make work.

I actually remedied this in my white car as far as tool boxes and stuff are concerned. I had done the trunk mount speaker box off coolcats and didnt want all my tools ending up on top of the speakers if you dont have the wood youd have to lay a piece in the floor or something but youll get a basic idea.
up under the rear deck there was the holes for the speakers and such I basically just stuck the little eye hooks in the wood from the speaker box and ran a rope back and forth between the eye hooks and the rear deck. Pretty much it just turned the space from between the trunk seal and floor all the way up to the front seat into a storage place of sorts. Not sure it helps but it served the purpose of what I needed Im sure you could probably come up with something similar and do in the trunk well itself. Actually if you got those little eyelets you could position them in the rear panel the tails bolt to and the braces coming down for the sides of the trunk hinge things and run your net across the well itself.

I was thinking more of something actually screwed into the floor...along the sides where it goes down into the "well" in the deep part. Having some tie-downs there would be super handy, I could secure my tool box and anything else I had in the trunk.

Like I said...I'll have to peruse Lowe's sometime this week...
