i have no power to my driving lights and my dash wont light up. Guessing it is my switch but how do you get the old one out? i cant get the the off to remove the remove the cover and get access.

Pull the headlight out and rotate it, you'll be able to see a small notch at its base. Stick a pick tool in the notch and release the metal clip that holds it on the shaft.
