2006 New York Auto Show Pics (56K Death!) Reply #13 – April 18, 2006, 11:51:15 AM I actually think if they do make the Camaro, it will be similar in ways but a lot different than that. The Camaro, I think is just going to need a lot of refinement. I feel that it is a far cry from a possible production car. I think the Challenger is a little more realistic and could easily be accepted as a new car. I'm sure they are going to make some changes to it. The tail lights and the rear quarter badge for instance.By the way, if they do come out with a Challenger like that, I'm going to put forth my best effort to have one in my driveway. Thanks for posting the pics Paul. The CAW already got the deal.QuoteThe Camaro, I think is just going to need a lot of refinement.Argh. Dude, the car hasn't even seen day one on the production floor, and people are already complaining about refinement.Quote I feel that it is a far cry from a possible production car. Bottom line, let's wait until at least ONE Camaro hits the streets before shooting it down. And if you don't mind, explain that sentence. Why isn't this a feasable production car? Not trying to be a pain in the ass, but you need to follow up comments like that.QuoteI think the Challenger is a little more realistic and could easily be accepted as a new car. It is 110% retro, and as history shows, retro cars are usually flash in the pan. I hope this isn't the case, but don't be shocked if it does happen. Look how fast the Mustang became yesterdays news. Anyone remember the retro baby-bird? Yeah. Me neither. Quote Selected
