SO though, no HO. Figure I'm gonna fix it up to get rid of all the annoying little issues it has so far, after that gonna try and hunt down a 5.0 HO at the junkyard (there's only a couple in the entire country that deal with USA cars .. and none of em have any birds :/ so gotta go snack stuff from a 'stang or something). After it's got some HO parts transplanted, I'm planning on putting in a floor shifter, and bolt on a supercharger, and buy some stock in a tire manufacturing company ... :D As far as it being a sleeper.. oh yes yes it is. Over where I live there's an inordinate amount of little ricerboys, and I swear, every time they pull up next to me at a light they start revving that trained mosquito they call an engine wanting to race and all. Smoke them every time too. And the sick part? I just step on it, right up to the speed limit and keep it right there. And still get to the next light before they do -- that's like, the ultimate shaming for them :D Quote Selected

Were any modifications needed to make them legal? It seems that the cars over there have amber turn signals and these Cats and Birds just have brighter red turn signals in the rear. Also, it seems that most or all of the cars over there have those little amber turn signals on the fenders behind each front wheel. Were you able to get by because your car's lights are factory or is any of that even required any more? Quote Selected

Were you able to get by because your car's lights are factory or is any of that even required any more? The 'default' is indeed amber, but the law states that turn signals in the rear may be either amber or red. Front signals either amber or clear. The side turn signals aren't mandatory, but if they are fitted, they must be amber. The only thing that was done is take out the bulbs from the cornering lights, those aren't allowed to come on at all (dunno the reason for that because I'd prefer them to come on but ok, it's the law ) Quote Selected
