Converting to manual brakes December 07, 2004, 01:52:48 PM Ok I want to convert my 88 Thunderbird to manual brakes, I'm looking at the Aerospace Components kits on Jegs HERE , I was wondering what the different is between the model for 79-93 and 94-04 is and if the 94-04 model fits, would it be any better?Thanks. You could drill out your holes to line them up, but that doesn't make much sense when the 1979-93 unit would simply bolt right up.Seems like a lot of work to make your stopping distances longer.
