Heads! April 06, 2006, 11:02:47 AM What do you think of these heads? The combustion chamber volume (64cc) is the same as GT-40's, but the intake runner volume is 40cc's more than GT-40's at 200cc, and they're over $100 less a peice than GT-40's. Whats the catch? I hope this isn't a stupid question... Quote Selected
Heads! Reply #1 – April 06, 2006, 11:09:14 AM Not sure what the catch is but....With the intake runner being bigger it may reduce air flow to the cyclinder. Now if you are going to be running forced induction thats not a problem. Quote Selected
Heads! Reply #2 – April 06, 2006, 12:07:32 PM Very good heads. Similar to the Edelbrock Performer heads.James Quote Selected
Heads! Reply #3 – April 06, 2006, 12:41:26 PM Max valve lift is less than a few other performance heads. Probably cheap springs. Quote Selected

Heads! Reply #14 – April 07, 2006, 01:28:19 PM I actually use the 180cc world heads on my car, they are a good performing head, the 200 were just to big for my application. You will be happy with them. And he is correct they will not work with stock Rockers or push rods. You will have to replace both of those. Push rods have to be hardened. I used 1.7 rollers on mine but you will have to have tall talve covers as well.
