I got it MGS3: Snake Eater (not Subsistence ) on reccommendation from a guy who knows his games(works at EB Canada). I loved it and I ended up buying MGS2: Sons of Liberty and MGS3 Subsistence and waiting for MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots . The reason I bought Subsistence because it has online gameplay, as well as the ported version of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 (originally only available in JPN) for the MSX platform.The only erk I have is not with the game, but with EB and Game Stop . They did not get any of the Limited Edition's (exact same but includes all cut scences stitched together in a 3+ HR Movie).the game is sweet, I definally reccommend it Quote Selected

Reply #3 – March 24, 2006, 01:02:09 AM I have Snake Eater...the multiplayer on subsistence looks awesome, but we don't have broadband access on our PS2 :( It would sure be nice if you could do the multiplayer mode without having to get online, but I know they won't put that in the game. sigh.Also I read that subsistence was only gonna cost $30. Video Games : Any MGS3 Subsistence ...... Reply #5 – March 24, 2006, 05:00:30 PM Kyle what I got with my Preorder was a DVD called Metal Gear Saga Vol 1. Hideo Kojima went on about the game beginnings. He started on the MSX Platform, the NES version was ported without his knowledge and really has nothing to do with the Series.(An awful port in his opinion)Subsistence includes ported version of Metal Gear for MSX and Metal Gear 2 for MSX, MG2 was only released in puppiesan until Subsistence came out. I've played a bit of the old games and they're pretty cool. Man how games graphics have changed.The only one I have not played is Metal Gear Solid for the PS1. Have not been able to find a copy since my 1st venture into the series was MGS:3. Sadly Hideo says MGS4 : Guns of the Patriots on PS3 will be the last of the MG and MGS Series. :( Quote Selected
