Arghh

So the guy I am getting my hood and rear end from just wants to give me the whole TC minus engine and tranny now for free from what I understand. the only problem is I have absolutely no where to put a whole car, that by the time I'd be done with it will not even have the ability to roll any more.  So I say to any of you AZ guys... like all 3 of you, if you want a White TC minus the Hood, Rear End, Engine and Tranny.  PM me and I'll hook you up with this guy.  The top of it is crunched, and I know he said that a lot of the interior is jacked, but the rest is good.  I'll post the details of its condition after I go see it tomorrow, and I'll try to get some pics too.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Theres a lot more to a TC than an engine, tranny, rear, and hood.
It's Gumby's fault.

Like that infamous "70/30 weight bias"? Or was that only a feature on base-models? :p

It's true, depending on the condition of the interior I might be taking out a bunch of those parts.

Man, I've been here far less than usual lately and even I know about that joke. Do some reading, or ask Eric or Haystack. :D

Well went and picked up the parts today.  Hood is in near perfect shape.  One of the rotors on the rear end is pretty much worn down to nothing, like it's literally razor sharp.  I've never seen anything like it.  No matter though as it's not going onto the car untill I swap in some 5 lugs.  The rest of the car however...  I asked the guy what happened to it thinking it had been in a roll over or something.  Turns out they pretty much just decided that since they got the parts they needed out of it they would just go to town on it with a big metal bar.  Such a shame.  Anyhow, this guy had about 4 XR4Ti's parked in front of his house, and there were two more at his buddy's where the TC was.  Most of them were in pretty good shape too.  So now I think I pretty much know where every last one of these rare little coupes in Phoenix are.

I'd jump on that, but I've no way to get it here to missouri.
About how much would ya roughly guess that it'd cost to ship it here?
