that's technically correct, however, since the SN-95 and New Edge are still Foxes one could argue the point.....IIRC the 94-95 got the AODE, not sure what's behind the modmotors.

You're correct. Technically the SN-95 is still based on the Fox platform. I'm unclear what car you refer to when you say new edge. The 05+ Mustang chassis is designated the S-197 and is based upon the Lincoln LS.

Just out of curiosity, since the 4.6 has a different bolt pattern what would be involved in taking say a 94 T-bird with the 3.8 and putiing in a 4.6 as far as mating up the transmission? Is a new bellhousing needed? Or was the 3.8's bolt pattern changed?

the mags call them SN-95 (94 to 98) new edge (99-04) and then the SN197...id personally consider them all 94-04 SN95 because the chassis didnt realy change, just the body.

Actually the interior was the icing on the cake for me. Not so much the finish, but the amount of room. Every 79-04 I ever sat in I had to put the seat all the way back and still wanted to go another inch or so. Not so with the new ones......

they ARE comfortable...pretty erganomic as well. i just didnt care for the look...the benifets of the car outweigh the revolting interior...

i feel right at home in a 99-04 stang though....they fit me like a glove. im 5'10" though...not the tallest guy out there...i honesly dont know why i dont own one yet.

bolt patterns are way off. and the bell housings are not removable. maybe some kind of adapter plate could be made. but would be ezier to find a 4.6 mort/tranny package and slide it in

and the sn95's are one of the sharpest looking stangs out on the road. other that the oldies and 05+ they just have the rite look. and have the goodies also. 5-speed your choice of motor 3.8/5.0/4.6 and the brakes

I disagree with the SN95 Mustang.

You simply can't beat the looks of an '87 GT in its stock form.

well. the 87+GT's are a seet ride but the 93 cobra takes the cake for the body kit the Gt's got the look only in the front the rest is like they kinda gave up on the kit and doesnt look to good from behind. and also i should say that not only the sn95 are some of the best looking. but the 03-04 cobras are really the best looking modern sn95.
