what would you use for lers Reply #3 – February 13, 2006, 10:45:49 PM I'm getting ready to put in a 5.0SO in my '88, and have a pair of Flowmasters for it afterwards, I heard them on my bud's 92 Stang GT, and it had a decent low rumble, but then he had coughcoughguttedcatscoughcough.Fairly loud at higher revs, but not what I'D term excessive...I hear Borla is along those lines too, low and rumbly but without the Nascar scream at WOT. If you don't use cats, then I would go with the next quietest series.I don't like having a car that is guilty of "false advertisp00get." We've heard plenty of imports with a lot of audible show, but no go. If a car is really loud, then it should be really fast with performance mods so it can live up to its sound.Basically, I would go with one step louder and deeper than what you have now, and no more.
