Snow!! February 12, 2006, 10:40:04 AM Well, it's finally happend. We have our first snowstorm of the season.Unfortunately, this is my weekend to work but there is an upside. My boss put me up in a hotel that's in the same complex as our building with dinner and what not at no cost to me. Have any of you stayed in a Residence in Marriott? The room was like a small apartment. A separate bedroom, living area, kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and all the plates glasses utensils and so on. Two tvs okay, two.He also gave me access to the company 4wd van. It's a '97 Ford Aerostar that looks new and has just over 30,000 on the ticker. While it may not seem like much of a company vehicle, it gets the job done. It did suck digging it out from the 2 foot snowdrift blocking me in though. Now I just hope that I don't have school tomorrow or atleast have a long delay. I talked to my parents at home and my Tib is buried in a snow drift along with most of my driveway. And they plowed the street so there is a nice wall there. And as luck would have it, our snow blower isn't working. Both my mom and dad have 4x4's so they'll have no problems. So it looks like I'll be shoveling when I get home around 9 tonight to get up at 5am for class. That's a big disadvantage to working 12 hour shifts. Oh well.So how is your winter storm situation? I heard last night that the storm is gaining strength and you'll be getting blizzard-like conditions. It's down to a light flurry here now. The sun has been peaking out every once in a while and I just got news that I can leave work around 4:30. Woohoo!! Quote Selected

Snow!! Reply #13 – February 12, 2006, 02:03:55 PM This winter has been so pathetic, snow 6-8 inches then rain two days later. I just sold my tundra yesterday for half its value just because I was sick of looking at it. Now I cant wait till summer. Quote Selected
