Hey sweet one troll gone, now to get rid of that other one.  I'm pretty sure most of you know who I am talking about.  Wish my dad would give me a 351w Mustang, or whatever...  story changes every time.

Honestly, if you want something cheap to drive around, a fox T-bird probably isn't the best route anyway. Just maintaining the thing gets pricy.

my t-bird was a lot cheaper to maintain than my sprint. I think the cost of fuel and parts equal out to costing the same from one car to the other. $35 for a @$#*% air filter!

Well im posting on every forum that i go on. So you guys are next on my list.

Should I:

A: keep my car as a beater and save for a better car

B:Keep it and mod

I really dont have the most money in the world my job i work at i make around $10 a hour. I would like to go fast and do show. But i dont really want to do a motor swap because it will cost more then buying another car. Thoughts suggestions.

A: keep my car as a beater and save for a better car

You will be able to find some nice cars with some mods perhaps for say $5K.  But if you have to repaint your car and do a bunch of stuff to fix it, you may already be looking at $5K.  How often do you hear about people trying to sell their modified cars for what they have spent on it.  They usually end up selling it for much less than it cost them.
Search Autotrader and Ebay.

Here is one for example where someone has already done a lot of work and has dropped the asking price several times:

"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"

There was this guy who came on here asking how to hope up his Turbo coupe to have "350 hp like the 66 351w Mustang my dad is giving me" or something to that effect. He's 16 if I remember correctly and we told him it was possible but not a good idea for a 16 year old.

Oh so am I part of the
