February 04, 2006, 11:45:50 PM I will getting a 351W soon and It will eventually be going into the t-birdas a roller camed EFI 5.8...oohh, ahhh(giddy with excitment) so, being that I have a explorer upper and lower going on the t-birds 5.0, I would like to use the explorer upper with a cobra 351 lower when it comes time for the t-bird to recieve the 351. You may run into emissions problems with a later one. Other than that I'm pretty sure it bolts up. Not 100% though.... Quote Selected

I won't be running an egr spacer with the explorer setup, nor will I when I put in a 351. No emissions tests around mid-michigan at all, so I'm not going to worry about it. Quote Selected

I might be able to sell you the 5.0 lower being that I need to get the $$$ saved up for the 351 lower as well as the headers and older style k-member so I can use mustang 351 motor mounts. However, I was going to put the 5.0 explorer intake on the bird intill I get the 351 all ready...what to do, what to do..Oh, by the way Bane, I think you gt stang has one of the coolest two toned pant schemes i've seen on a fox mustang. But Im getting it repainted this summer (same colors) by then Ill have a new hood for it, fix a couple dings, and the new bumper will be painted. Im shooting for everything done exterior wise by carlisle but I dont see if happening :(but keep me informed on the lower, I need something to do next winter :) hopefully a h/c/i install.
