You could try calling the interior guy from Pimp My Ride. :giggle:  But seriously you could try painting some of the stuff. I know that there are some really good interior paints out there.

yeah I'm sure Xzibit could put some nasty paint, wheels, and useless  like tvs in it :p and I did paint everything, the interior was shiznit-brown when i got it, now it's all black. I was referring to the fkd-up door panels, as you can see the arm rests have seen better days

When my dad bought the cat, there wasnt a complete door panel (they were all cracked) and the interior roof was inexistent. Try to find the pieces here its nearly impossible. But my mother and i build totally the new parts (was red, now is black). We dont know nothing about car interiors, but we get a decent result. I like the custom aluminium interiors in this car.

same though with how much the smallest flaws bug me (mainly in things I make or design), I'd have to take it some place to get it all laser cut. There goes the cost - may as well do something to the aluminum surface also.  :wtf:

yeah, i basically had to hand-file the square parts after punching them as round holes. how do you think round holes would look for the window/seat switches?

the center console and door lock switch plates are a very light gague aluminum. you can strip the paint off and polish them. you have to be careful when stripping the paint though.

I made mine out of .040" clear anodized aluminum. I have access to all kinds of aluminum, stainless steel, jet-kote and galvanized steel, as well as brass and copper (wouldn't use that in a car tho...) I think I'm going to make a "skin" out of 26 or 24ga  jet-kote for my engine compartment, so I won't have to fill and sand etc. the holes that are there. too bad I'm quitting my job there soon :(
