would I be disowned if........ Reply #4 – February 01, 2006, 09:16:27 PM I almost bought what I remember to be a 76 XR-7. It was mint green 1/2 Vinyl Roof and vice grips for the automatic shifter. Needed some serious work but it has a nice sounding 351-C. Wonder what happened to it ? Anyway can't wait for the pics. Quote Selected
would I be disowned if........ Reply #5 – February 01, 2006, 09:19:36 PM Disowned? Not at all. My uncle had a black '78. For some reason, I think they're really cool. There's a white one for sale not too far from me that looks to be in really good shape. I haven't stopped to look at it seeing as I don't have room for any more cars. If I did and liked it enough with the right price, I'd have to buy it. Quote Selected

would I be disowned if........ Reply #7 – February 01, 2006, 09:54:16 PM For real? Thats the actual car? Theres a white one near me for sale and its in miserable condition. The rust along the quarter panels is so bad that you could basically just lift the roof off. Rust holes and bondo everywhere - and the guy still wants $3000 for it! Quote Selected

The only Tbirds with big blocks were 61-63s with 390 FEs, 64-67 with 390FEs standard and 428 FEs optional, 68-71 with 385 serrires 429s, and 72-76 with 385 serries 460s. 77-79 Tbirds came with a 302, 351W, 351M, or a 400M.I will have a 1970-1971 2 door Thunderbird one day:D Quote Selected
