Our family has been through Bonnevilles, LeSabres, Intrepids, Regals, Cutlass's, etc (all FWD). But best car hands down was the 1993 Sable. Black on tan - good looking car with some bizzarre things - but great, solid, good handling platform. The only other one that came close was an Olds Intrigue (3.5 Shortstar). All the others were soggy boats, worthless and entirely unrewarding. I like them so much I was thinking about picking up a regular old taurus sedan for communting (the truck gets old.) Props on the SHO. I remember when a neighbor brought one home (first year for 2nd gen, so 1992 I guess?) My dad and I fell in love instantly. It looked just like yours. Awesome car. Quote Selected

my 1st non fox... Reply #18 – January 29, 2006, 11:10:18 PM oh yeah, speaking over newer ones, my grandmother has a 97 (or so, turtle body style) with a regular 3.0. Blue on Blue - can you believe they were still doing that in the late 90s? It only has 30K so I cant testify to its reliability. And on top of that, my cousin just bought an 02 Taurus. I dont think the newer ones (frog/ turtle body style and up) have as much character as the 86-95's. Just looking at them makes me want beat the out of it on gravel & dirt backroads. Quote Selected
