YO! you had plans to put the I6 in a bird yes?  :hick:  is that still happening? cause I want the pics and build up notes!! :D  heheh. just curious I know it was thrown around a bit before and I personally think it is an awesome idea.

Oh, it's still the plan, but I'm still waiting on the slow boat from OZ to get here.  I think it's coming via row-boat. 
Once I have the parts in hand I'll start working on getting the head and block together and then get the turbo manifold built.  The main chunk of the work will probably not happen until next fall/winter though when the car is back off the road.

darn.. I can't wait to see it though, being a fan of the little I6 that could and all.

you got the Oz, x flow head? I can't remember now. pics are a must. i assume they will be over at fordsix also. anyway hope your stuff shows up soon, and keep us (me more importantly :P ) informed.

Yes, it's an AL X-flow head (and other parts).  An '87 I believe, the last year before they went to the OHC stuff.

nice. and I like how those balance the look of the engine bay too, get some of that junk on the drivers side for a change. gunna look really nice with a turbo. Should be pretty beefy in the HP too.
