Awesome - you guys kick ass!

I'll post some sweet pictures soon, ya'll are going to love it.

I cant offer my first born yet - but the first person to call it gets it.

I play around on Ford Truck Enthusiasts but don't really post too much.  Its a great site with an infinate amount of archived posts - but theres just a little too much BS floating around that comes from misconceptions and other stupid stuff.  Not to point fingers, but this thread is what really set me off - 5.0 vs. 4.9:

I'm really kind of 6 cylinder geek, and I love my 300 -  but the guys on there that are defending it are delusional.  They talk up the 300 like it has super powers.  Happens all the time, this is just the most recent example.

Ha, yeah I know what you mean. I know I saw a post on there one time by a guy asking if people thought his F-150 with a 300 could beat his friend's chevy with a 350 in a drag race.

There's a couple guys on there that are knowitall a-holes too.

Yeah for real.  I remember that post too - I think the everyone jumped in and said "hell ya man that there 300 makes more torque than a 460 it will rip that cheby's guts out."  I used to defend the little old 300 because its an incredible engine, so old tech especially to have lasted until 1996, and even have EECIV EFI with a knock sensor.  But when I started seeing people blatantly spew out total BS (the 300 makes more torque than a 351!  Its better than a cummins!)  the site kinda lost its credibility.  Still an incredible database, I dont want to talk it down too much.

So, I just took pictures with my digital camera - but they're too big to upload.  I swear I'm not computer illiterate, but what do I do?  I checked the sticky - theyre JPG files - how do I downsize them?

Yeah that site is pretty cool.  I usually just lurk around there and daydream, but I rarely post at all since my 300 is just a daily driver that I hardly work on.  It seems like most of the action is for the Falcon six, which doesnt do much for me.  But there are some hardcore 300 drag racers on there that really know their stuff.
