WTB: Fox Thunderbird or Cougar, 2.3, 3.8 or 5.0 January 21, 2006, 11:35:08 PM I'm looking for a Cat or Bird, preferably '85 and up, any of the models, in good shape mechanically and esthetically. Basically a car that I can drive off in and not need to do anything but basic maintenance to for at least a few months.I'm not buttstuff about the looks factor, so some rust and/or dings would be ok, but I definitely don't want to have to get stuck in the engine bay a week after buying it.I'm in Southwest Missouri, Joplin to be exact, but I'm willing to travel if the right car shows up. WTB: Fox Thunderbird or Cougar, 2.3, 3.8 or 5.0 Reply #7 – January 27, 2006, 03:54:26 AM Thanks to everyone who replied, I have bought a '96 Pontiac Grand Prix for $2000. Not willingly, but I start a new job on Monday, which requires me to have a set of wheels. Hopefully I will one day have the money and time to again invest in a Thunderbird. Quote Selected
