'87 XR7 new on here Reply #15 – January 16, 2006, 10:49:11 AM AHHH that explains it... The car should have a 11.60 @ 115/116 in it then...I ran 12.23@112.2(1.72 60ft) a few years ago on a 90 shot... Tried a 150 but the 225/60/16 Nitto DRs i had at the time couldn't hold it... I did go 12.5@115 letting it loose in 2nd gear... Quote Selected
'87 XR7 new on here Reply #16 – January 16, 2006, 11:04:34 AM Yeah, well, I hit 17.5 @ 88MPH... :flip: People with faster cars than mine suck. Unfortunately that's just about everybody... Quote Selected

'87 XR7 new on here Reply #20 – January 16, 2006, 01:23:07 PM what about the front control arms? (im assuming you are using the stock K member?) stock tbird/cougar arms or fox mustang? what year spindles, 94-95 or 96 up. curious as too just how much my wheels are gonna stick out when everything is bolted up. thanks man....john Quote Selected
'87 XR7 new on here Reply #21 – January 16, 2006, 06:23:53 PM My car has a mustang K member and I narrowed the front tubular lower control arms. Before I changed the K member and other stuff the tire fit well.I hope this answers your questions. Quote Selected
'87 XR7 new on here Reply #22 – January 16, 2006, 08:36:25 PM thank you well, i can live with my wheel sticking out about as much as yours but with a fox stang k and "tbird length" control arms with 96 up spindles in my car they are likely going too stick out too far. Quote Selected
'87 XR7 new on here Reply #23 – January 16, 2006, 09:31:03 PM Woah, nice. 351 with a 150shot should get you deep into the 11s I would imagine. Mine ran 12.11 @ 113.8 with a 306 and 125shot, I tried the 150 shot, once it overpowered the tires and the second time the tune was way off due to MAF problems, that was the last time I ran the car. Never hit 11s, so congrats. Also, props on a clean car, looks sharp. Quote Selected
