T-bird sleeping Reply #2 – December 29, 2005, 10:32:06 PM Yeah I know what ya mean. I drive a 93 Buick Century in the winter. Yeah that's a fun car to drive:disappoin Quote Selected
T-bird sleeping Reply #3 – December 29, 2005, 10:48:50 PM What's this "winter" you speak of? :pColdest night we've had so far is 40 degrees. :pWas just out working on my truck within the last hour.. 58 degrees. Sucks that the vacuum lines under the dash are screwed up and I only have the dash vents and a little bit of leaking air through the defroster vents.. fogged up really badly for my test drive. But other than that, it was nice to be out at 9 PM working on a vehicle and not be carried away by the mosquitoes. :p Quote Selected
T-bird sleeping Reply #4 – December 29, 2005, 10:53:17 PM It got to 45* here yesterday. I was driving around with the windows down the radio up. With gloves on and my jacket zipped up to my neck but it got to 45*.:D Today it was like 30* no more funBut since the weather is getting nicer here and they arn't predicting snow for quite some time I will be working on the Cougar getting it running. So I can drive it some time in the next couple of months. Quote Selected

Then snow on Sunday. Did I mention I hate winter? Quote Selected
T-bird sleeping Reply #6 – December 29, 2005, 11:12:42 PM I would take hurricanes over a bad snowstorm any day of the week. At least I know from personal experience that I can drive my T-bird in a hurricane. Not so sure after 30 years in the South that I could handle snow and ice so well. :p As for the old people.. well, that's a problem that solves itself over and over again on a daily basis, as long as we have room to bury 'em. T-bird sleeping Reply #7 – December 30, 2005, 12:54:23 AM I personally love the snow, unfortunatally the last couple winters here have been pathetic, rarely dipping below -20 in the night and only about 3ft of snow at my house last year. Got 5" yesterday (grass was showing the day before) but theyre calling for rain on the weekend. hopefully it'll stay cool enough that it'll turn in to snow instead, picked up a 250 tundra in the summer and havnt even ridden it yet....Green christmas' suck Quote Selected
T-bird sleeping Reply #8 – December 30, 2005, 01:06:00 AM Well I don't have a vehicle I'd be willing to subject to your salty icy roads. Salt is for fries, not roads. :p Quote Selected

T-bird sleeping Reply #10 – December 30, 2005, 11:42:23 PM Salt likes the paint on my Buick. Infact it likes it so much that it takes the paint and leaves rust behind:mad: Quote Selected
T-bird sleeping Reply #11 – December 31, 2005, 09:46:06 AM Salt sucks but I love winter... until I have to drive in a snowstorm or dig my car out. Atleast they haven't salted the roads here for a few weeks and we've had all rain recently. I get to take the Cougar out and don't have to worry about a thing:D Quote Selected
