The way it would work is, once the code is in place, an image is pulled from a directory that contains ALL the new header images. In other words, every time you view a page the header will change randomly. As we get more headers made we just throw them in that directory. Nice, simple, efficient, and truly random. This isn't meant to be a popularity contest or a way to stroke egos...just a cool way to show a few of the members' cars here, nothing more. Changing it manually would defeat the purpose of the random code, and since I'm the keeper of the master file, I can say for certainty that would be something I'd simply forget to do every month. Much better to do them all at once, put them in a directory, and let the code take it from there.So far the images everyone have posted are good for clarity and size. I edit the pix as needed so it doesn't really matter as far as backgrounds. If you see how they are at the top banner now, it didn't take much to tweak the photo to fit, sharpen it up, and get the right angle set. Honestly it's not that much work for me to do in one sitting. Maybe an hour or two to get everything done. I just need all the photos first.That being said...we need some more 4-eye cars (Cats and Birds). I don't want to put mine up there unless absolutely necessary. So everyone that has a PHOTO of a 4-eye (even if you don't have the car anymore!), please post them. Baxo actually wrote it for my site but we can adapt it and port it over to this board since it uses the same type of coding. I was just explaining the process of how it works, nothing else implied. :)I have all of the submitted photos in this thread, and since they all look good to me, I don't see a reason why they shouldn't be on the banners.
