Help me choose a name December 25, 2005, 11:22:25 PM Just got this on the road. Now to make it pretty and unique. I've been thinking of calling it SS for "simply stock", or BS for "bone stock", or one that fits the car as well as me "Grey Fox". What do Y'all think? Quote Selected
Help me choose a name Reply #1 – December 25, 2005, 11:54:49 PM SS sounds too much like a Chevelle, Nova or Camaro. BS sounds like you hate it. I always end up making stupid names for mine. For instance Killer B cuz its yellow. Black Betty cuz its black. Quote Selected

Help me choose a name Reply #5 – December 26, 2005, 01:42:18 PM I figure a car should earn its name, not be given one. The 1980 got named 'the beast' 'cause shes quite rough around the edges, the first sprint was called the 'ghetto cruiser' 'redneck ricer' then finally just 'sprunt' since it was decided that 'sprunt is an acceptable past tense to sprint and the car was finished lol. The new sprint has ben dubbed 'the silver bullet'. The 1982 has only been driven for 4 days since i've owned it so it is currently nameless but it wil come in time. Just listen to what people say about it and what kinda 'vibe' it gives off something will hit you eventually... thats just my thoughts:D Quote Selected
Help me choose a name Reply #6 – December 26, 2005, 01:54:16 PM Well my car has been dubbed "The Sled" mainley because its so slow. But I got 12k miles out of it before any major repair, and that only cost 250 bucks. That is a nice Cougar. I'm betting over time a name will come to you, tbirdscott is right a name is earned. I do however think it will include "silver" or "ghost" or both? Quote Selected
Help me choose a name Reply #7 – December 26, 2005, 04:36:06 PM I've commonly referred to mine as Tank, since on several seperate occasions my passengers have said "This car is huge, it's like riding in a tank." Quote Selected

Help me choose a name Reply #14 – December 26, 2005, 08:41:50 PM Those wheels in the first pic won't fit because the bolt spacing is differn't on a mn12 than it is on a fox. Second pic. For gods sake put those wire wheel covers back on. Your car has to look totally trashy without them.*edit, you beat me by a second man! The times are the same on our posts!* Quote Selected
