By "in time" do you mean ignition or cam?  It is possible that the timing belt has slipped.

You have checked for spark at the plugs?

How have you checked for fuel?

I doubt it's the injectors. They don't just "fail" as a group.

TFI module maybe?

How much backlash is in the distributor rotor? (ie, how much can you rotate it by hand?).  Munched a dist/aux shaft gear perhaps?  What oil pump did you use on the rebuild?  High pressure? A big no-no on these engines.

With the KOEO, and the dist hold down loose enough to rotate the dist, can you get the fuel system to prime?  You should hear a click from the injectors and hear the pump run for a sec as you turn the dist one way or the other.

Well As far as I know all the injectors should fire at the same time. They all fire from the same signal. So I would tell you check your wiring.

A bad TPS or its associated wiring can put the EEC (computer), in the dechoke mode... Meaning the injectors are shut down...

Run the diagonstic codes, you may well find your problem...

Well, that's a problem.

It's either wiring or the ECU is bad.  Since you replaced the ECU (known good one?) then wiring is probably the issue.

i had nothing i mean not even the door ding. has not started since,

I think ya barking up the wrong tree.....
you have now power inside the car at all???  I would check the fuse links that hook up on the starter solinoid, on the bat side of it, you might have burt the hot feeds to the fuse box
1985 TC (yet another one) Fully loaded

I mised the ding part... BogusSVO is correct, it likely has a bad fuse link...

You just grabbin for a harness is likely gonna get you in trouble as well. I doubt a T-bird and Stang harness are plug and play with one another...

Well, this would all be useful info to know when trying to help with a no start.

It's either a dead fuseable link or two or the ignition switch is bad....which is highly likely on an 80's Ford.

but if the switch would be bad would i have spark and the fuel pump running. its just the "power" to the injectors. but i guess i have to keep everything in mind. its just weird

Well, the "power" to the injectors comes from the ECU....you've swapped that, and unless you have 2 bad ECU's.....

If the ECU does not get the signal to cycle the injectors, you could have spark and have a primed fuel system, but sill no start.  Did you check the TFI?  Did you check the wiring to the TFI?  Did you do a wiggle test on the TFI connector?  Pull the TFI connector and look in the end of the plug.  Are all the connectors inside all lined up, or are one or two pushed back in the plug body?

Did you turn the dist like I mentioned with the KOEO?

Then again, it's hard to play mechanic over the internet.
