Santa came early

I just received two early presents (and no, I didn't blow settlement money on them): A new Fuji digital camera (4MP, 6X optical zoom) and a new 19" flat panel monitor for the desktop. I opened 'em early because, well, I wanted to ;) Gotta love new toys

I got the 2MP version of that camera some years back. Haven't had a single problem and although their 6x lens isn't stabilized, it works great outdoors. Have fun with it.

Indeed I did - my original plan was to stand in front of the mirror and take a pic, but, well, I wasn't feeling pretty :hick:

I also took the pics at the lowest resolution (640 X 480) because it'd be a waste of space to take more high res pics (and the file size limitations of this forum - curse those administrators  )

Seek: Glad to hear you didn't have trouble. My old digicam was  Fuji and I was happy with it, but it has just gotten too obsolete - 1.3MP, no optical zoom, 2X digital, no movie mode... hard to believe it was $750 when new. I bought that one with an insurance check from a break in - I had an old Samsung camera that I had bought used on eBay for about $60 stolen (it was stolen from me, I mean - I didn't buy a stolen camera). The camera was out of production, the insurance company could not find any info on it, they found a Fuji with similar specs (the Samsung was a 1MP) and priced it up at a local store, then gave me the model number of the replacement and a check made out to me and the store, so I had to buy it. It really hurt, too :D I had a feeling that the store owner was in cahoots with the insurance adjuster on that one, giving him kickbacks or something.

This new one was $299 and included a $70 leather case and a 128MB memory card for free as well. I was able to buy it and the monitor after a good eBay week and lots of cop car building hours. While I didn't buy it with settlement money, I must admit knowing that check is coming may have loosened my purse strings...

Maybe youd feel pretty if you were to buy a pair of matching heels to go with that purse :giggle:
It's Gumby's fault.

Repairing a lock cylinder that is frozen or sans keys requires a drill, gumption, and a midget on a tricycle.

I think someone has a stapler fetish... ;)

So you noticed the three staplers, but nobody mentioned the five bitty T-Birds?

I noticed them. Is one of them blue with a yellow interior and an opening hood? Does it have a yellow plastic band running around the molding with the bottom half being bare metal?
It looks like the one on the right. I have that one.

I have a Fuji Fine Pix digi, 2 megapixel. Actually it was my mom's Christmas gift a year or two ago and I took it over   It takes really good pictures but every once in a while, it has a problem closing the lense or it won't focus.
Mine looks something like...
