more computer talk

could I put a '86-'88 HO chip into my t-bird's computer? or do I have to replace the whole unit? I'm having ALOT of trouble finding a computer for it

'00 f150 7700-Mean Green: jet stage 1 chip,ported upper intake with 1" spacer,'04 Super Duty intake with injectors,summit racing short tube headers with true 2.5" duals with smithy's glasspacks!

they should be pretty plentiful, I am sure someone on the board would be more then happy to get "rid" of one. I bought one for $50 I think it was, and I didnt even wait for a good offer.

The 86-88 arent worth alot, now the A9L and A9P computers bring big bucks.
