Re: new lite headlight restorer Reply #1 – November 23, 2004, 11:12:41 PM Hrmmm I'm just doing in this in my room right now with 1000 grit wet sand paper and some metal polish. Works great for being free and about 15-20 min a lense. Quote Selected

Re: new lite headlight restorer Reply #5 – November 25, 2004, 12:36:44 AM I tried something exactly like that, it may be the same stuff though (not sure without a picture showing the packaging).Anyway, the first few steps helped get the oxidation and yellowing off, just don't apply that sealer in the last step. I didn't see much improvement over what wet sanding and rubbing compound can do. Quote Selected

(like the sandpaper + polishing compound thing)Sometimes I think about buying stuff like that just to try it and give it an informal review.. but I have a hard time justifying all extra purchases right now when I still need work clothes and new brakes and stuff like that. new lite headlight restorer Reply #11 – October 26, 2005, 11:52:26 AM speaking of headlights, I was surprised that THIS AUCTION went for so much as it did considering new headlights have been going for 110-125 buy it now for the last couple years. Looking at the numbers listed on the other auctions, HL1077L/HL1077R, they don't appear to be NOS but reproductions. Anyone know? Also, anyone have experience with these ones? Quote Selected

new lite headlight restorer Reply #14 – November 15, 2005, 05:14:19 PM okay, they are indeed Ford nos. Now to compare them side by side with my clear lens/polished aluminum tape ones and see how well the tape reflector actually works compared to the stock offering. If there's little difference, I can just unload the lenses for the price I got them for Quote Selected
