There was a guy  that lived close to me that did something like that but not as big. He had cars lined up for a least 1.5 miles just to see his house set to music.

Oh, I forgot to mention the christmas light thing is big business where I live they have a parade of light every year. They shut down main street and take floats made of nothing but christmas light and drive them down main street to a park where they set them up for people to drive around and see them.

It was just on the news that the guy had to pull the plug on that display. Appears it was causing traffic chaos. I think they said it waas in a Chicago suburb.

I though that looked familar! So it was in Chicago. I think that must have been the same house I saw last year but I think the display was a little different.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio man who made national television with his computerized Christmas light show has pulled the plug.
Carson Williams said his display has gotten so much attention since being featured on the "Today" show this week, the traffic has become a safety concern in his neighborhood.
The lights on the house were on a timer that is set to go off once every hour and are synchronized to the music "Wizards in Winter" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

The video on the site was off that house that tom posted.
