a 3.0 vulcan V6 and SHO stick tranny is a relitivally easy swap into that car (tempo/topaz)....and would be alot of fun....

#1 Don't feel like putting that much effort into this car

Yup thats the same reason I put side exhaust on mine last night. Too cheap to buy all the crazy bent pipes to put the right stuff on it.

Three cylinders of fury!!!! Yeah Baby!:flip:  I actually got my ass handed to me regularily by tempos in the far red one(only runs on two cylinders, burnt valves in one), the coffee can, ground effects, spoiler, painted interior, tach, and stereo didnt add as much power as I had expected:mad:

The one with no wheels used to do great 3rd gear smoke shows till my buddy and I split the tranny off roading/jumping it and killed the tranny

Now driving the silver one and might be buying a turbo sprint in a few days

Total investment, 3 sprints and 1 firefly(donating its engine to the red one) $450, the turbo is costing me almost that much but its in great shape and they're a blast to drive, theyre like go-carts!

Sure does look fast but it is only a 3.8.I put the 99 Cobra front bumper cover on and the 03 Cobra rear spoiler.Dont get me wrong, for a 3.8 it will keep up with a GT but thats only because of the 3:73s and the SCT chip in it.

My brother's ex had an '87 turbo Sprint back when it was new. That little fvcker FLEW! I'd love to have one in good shape. Actually, I'd like to have the drivetrain from one and put into a newer Metro/Firefly body

Side exhaust? What'd you use for a ler?

Mine sounds bad enough with a turbo ler and a crack in the EGR tube...
